So I have an odd question of sorts. I was working with parabolas and had the equation: y=-4(x-1)^2+3. Curious, I changed the y to an x so that it now read: x=-4(x-1)^2+3. When put into desmos, this resulted in two parallel lines. Why?

Respuesta :

This is  equal to 0 = 4x^2 -8x+7  which is a parabola.    I don't know what desmos is so I can't help  you with that
