Granite is a type of igneous rock which is granular and is formed from hot, molten magma. It is mainly composed of two minerals: feldspar and quartz.
It is said to be the most intrusive rock which covers most of the Earth's continental crust and also forms the cores of the continents and mountain ranges.
Moreover, depending on the amount of minerals present in granite, its color ranges from pink to grey.
