For biotic factors, an example is something living like a rhino. For abiotic factors, it's the opposite, such as a river. A biome, however, is something like a rainforest.
The biotic factors that describes a biome such as tropical rain forest are
- The food producers (green plants)
- The food consumers (animals)
- The decomposers
The abiotic factors of the tropical rain forest include:
- Temperature
- light intensity
- humidity
The biome is the largest natural terrestrial ecosystems. We identify a biome by its vegetation.This is because plants form the bulk of the community in any ecosystem.
A typical example of a biome is the tropical rain forest. it is dense and made up of many types of broad-leaved trees that are mostly evergreen.
