Mass production brought jobs to woman, most woman took care of children, but as industry grew more people were needed, thus woman came into the working class
Before the Industrial Revolution women usually had traditional jobs such as making clothes, cooking, cleaning, also managed affairs of farm and took care of children.
But with the Industrial Revolution, the role of women changed drastically. Women entered the workforce in factories, they worked mostly in textile mills and coal mines. Women’s roles didn’t change at home, they still needed to take care of children and of the house, because of this, it was common to see children working in factories and in mines.
