Solution

(1.2x + 0.2)/3.6 = 0.5x/9

Cross multiplying, we get

9(1.2x + 0.2) = 3.6 * 0.5x

10.8x + 1.8 = 1.8x

10.8x - 1,8x = -1.8

9x = -1.8

Dividing both sides by 9, we get

x = - 0.2
