John's mother takes him to the doctor's office every year around his birthday.

Using h=2y+36 as the equation, in how many years will John's height measure 72 inches?

How tall is he currently? is he 5 and like 40 inches? If he starts at 0 inches it will take 2 years to be 72 inches but i think he's probably taller.
