How long will it take a car to accelerate from 15.2 m/s to 23.5m/s if the car has an average acceleration of 3.2 m/s

Write out what you know and what you need to figure out:

V₁ = 15.2 m/s

V₂ = 23.5 m/s

a = 3.2 m/s

t = ?

Δt = change in velocity / a

    = 23.5 - 15.2 / 3.2

    = 2.6 m/s²
