While their pyramids in Egypt are smaller in comparison, their set of funerary constructions in Sudan are the largest in the country.
  • "The development of Africa's first iron-working city": Around 200 BC, Nubian rulers saw the geographical potential (It was part of many trade routes in Central Africa, had the highest pluviometric precipitation in the area and the presence of several iron ore deposits nearby) in the southern city of Meroe, making it the new capital. With this move, Meore became Africa's first iron-working center and remaining that way for 900 years.
  • "The famous text, The Book of the Dead": The Book of the Dead was an old Egyptian dead text that started being used in the New Kingdom (around 1550 BCE). During their rule of Egypt - The 25th Dynasty -, the Book of the Dead was standardized to a version that it is known today as the "Saite recension".
  • "Trade networks that stretched from Greece to the south of the Sahara": This empire was a civilization in where commerce and trade thrived, taking advantage out of their privileged geographical locations to establish a multitude of routes that help them to develop into a commercial economy.
