if a 6 ft tall man casts a 9 ft shadow, then how long is the shadow that a 10 ft tall adult elephant casts

We have 2 similar triangles here so the  correcponding sides are in the same proportion.:-

6/10 = 9 / x

6x = 90

x = 15

The elephant casts a shadow  15 feet long/
