Nina completed A third of her homework problems. But 1/2 of all the problems she solved had incorrect answers. If 7 of them she solved had correct answers, then how many problems are in her homework?

Respuesta :

If 1/2 of the problems had incorrect answers, then half of them also had correct answers. If 7 had correct answers, then 7 also had incorrect answers. That means 14 problems=1/3 of the homework problems. Multiply 14 by 3 to find the total amount of homework problems:

14*3=42

Nina has 42 homework problems.

I hope this helps :)
