1/4 times 7/8 please help me with this question I’m so confused

You basically multiply across. 1/4 times 7/8 is 7/32 because numerator, 1 times 7 and denominator, 4 times 8. Hope it helps.

the answer is 7/32 what I did was i multiplied the denominators (4×8) and then the numerators (1×7) so it would then be 7/32.
