Industrialization with all its glory, also brought industries up, like locomotives using coal, coal pollutes the air, it also brought chemical waste that pollutes the ground.

Besides pollution, Industrialization was pursued ruthlessly with little or no care for the common workers, women and children were part of the workforce in appalling sanitary conditions, many women worked with their 5 or more children like so, with little care or concern by employers, for little pay, there was no minimum wage or even a wage act of any kind.

Industrialization is the use of machines and other related machinery in the manufacturing process.

This is a good and novel concept as it makes work easier, quicker and better than when work was done manually. However, while it has its advantages, it also has its drawbacks.

One of them is pollution which is brought about by the release of harmful gases into the atmosphere because of the use of heavy machinery.

Another negative effect include the poor treatment of workers which included low wages, little to no protection and remuneration in cases of work related injuries, lack of minimum wage,etc. This led to the creation of workers union to protect the welfare of workers.
