Im confused because I keep getting 1.44 instead of 5.3, so im not sure if my exponent is going to be right!

So you multiply the first factors, which will get you 14.4 and you add the powers together which will get you 10^8. Since 14.4 is not acceptable, you move the decimal and add 1 to the power which will get you 1.44 x 10^9
