Y=mx+b
Find slope:
4,4
X1 y1
-4 -1
X2 y2

Y2-y1 divided by x2-x1 is the slope equation
-1-4 divided by -4-4= -5/8
To find b(the y intercept)
Y-y1=m(x-x1)
Y-4=-5/8(x-4)
Solve this equation to get your y intercept:
