The answer has to be option C "free women in Sparta." The main role for all Sparta women is to produce and raise boys to be soldiers. Same for slave women but they also do hard labor which is less freedom then free women in Sparta. In Athens women were free to participate in religious ceremonies but Sparta women controlled their husbands.
