An amusement park had 350 people come in over the course of 7 hours.At this rate ,how many would they expect to come in over 15 hours?

The answer is 750 people, How I got my answer.

I first realised to make it easier I multiplied 7×2=14 which leaves only 1 left, so I added 350+350=700 then I divided 350÷7=50 so then i added 700+50=750.
