The United States has given billions of dollars for reconstruction efforts following other wars we were involved in. This was similar to the period following the Civil War and that the goal was not just rebuilding physical structures but also changing other country societies to be more like the United States.

America knows how much a war can damaged a country,It is important to help with reconstruction.For example when WW2 was over we sent millions of money to france to hep rebuild it after is was invaded by hitler used as the battleground for the war.
