First of all, lets explain each one carefully.

An anti Federalist was someone who did not want the Constitution to be written. Basically, they did not want the government to go by what the Constitution preached. This group wanted the Bill of Rights instead.

On the other hand.....there was people who were called Federalists. These people were totally with the constitution. They wanted it to be what the government was based on.....this didn't go too well. Socialism is something that most people feared back in the day.

Anywho...lets get to the thesis part.

I would personally be an Anti Federalist. It is as unexpected as it seems; but I fear Socialism. Socialism is the overthrow of the government, and this could happen when new rules come into place suddenly. After that happens - what's next? What would America's government decide to do? This is exactly what most Anti Federalists feared, so they wanted the Bill of rights to stay in place. The Constitution was reviewed and written carefully, but, could you adjust to something to quick? I think not. Plus, the nation was pretty big, It grew fast. People from all over where migrating to the America's for better safety etc. Whether it was escaping hunger, weather, or even shelter, they came here and the population was always growing.
