"Atoms are composed of a massive, central nucleus surrounded by a swarm of fast-moving electrons. Thenucleus is made up of protons and, inmost cases, neutrons. Almost all of themass (more than 99%) of an atom iscontained in the dense nucleus. Anatomic nucleus is much, much smaller than an atom." this is what I found research this question I hope this helps
