The number which appears most often in a set of numbers. Example: in {6, 3, 9, 6, 6, 5, 9, 3} the Mode is 6 (it occurs most often).

The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values in the set. To find the range, first order the datafrom least to greatest. Then subtract the smallest value from the largest value in the set. hope this helps :)
