A student wants to use cookies to make a model of the genetic makeup of the offspring of asexual reproduction. He has vanilla cookies and chocolate cookies available. How can he make his model?

Respuesta :

Living organisms have two types of reproduction. i.e. sexual and asexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction is a  reproduction in which an offspring is obtained from a single parent. Genetic information in both the parent and the offspring are identical. So in asexual reproduction the parent and the offspring have identical genetic makeup.

Way to use parent and offspring:

A. Deploy as parents both chocolate cookies and vanilla cookies, use vanilla cookies and chocolate cookies as the offspring.

B. Put both the chocolate cookies and vanilla cookies as parents, Join half a vanilla cookie and half a chocolate cookie for the offspring too.
