What is the value of x in this equation? 6x -35= -5x+9. Please show work. Thanks!

You said:  6x - 35  =  -5x + 9

Add  5x  to each side:  11x - 35 = 9

Add 35 to each side:  11x  =  44

Divide each side by 11:   x = 4
