Answer: Answers will vary - Ancient Rome is not considered to be an example of Prehistory because is existed after the development of writing. Furthermore, most of what we know of Ancient Rome come from primary source texts such as "History of Rome" by Titus Livius.
For lvl 6 (Evaluation) you could have students evaluate the pros and cons of history and prehistory in regards to amount of information, methods of collection, and inherent bias among historians and archeologist to determine which type of historical record is most likely to be accurate. … but that is really getting into college lvl stuff at that point.
