A microwave is placed on top of two boxes. One box is 3 feet 11 inches tall, the other box is feet inches tall, and the microwave is 4 feet 8 inches tall. How tall are they combined?

If you add them you would get 7"19 which can't happen so you would take 12 of the inches out of 19 and make it another foot leaving you at 8"7

Combined, the two boxes are eight foot seven
