So firstly, subtract both sides by 2LH: [tex] S-2LH=(2L+2H)W [/tex]

Next, divide both sides by (2L + 2H): [tex] \frac{S-2LH}{2L+2H}=W [/tex]

Next, factor out 2 in the denominator and your final answer will be [tex] \frac{S-2LH}{2(L+H)}=W [/tex]
