Respuesta :
The flow of genetic information is from DNA to RNA to proteins.
What is genetics?
- "It is a branch of science that studies how the characters are transferred from one generation to next generation."
What is DNA?
- "DNA is deoxyribonucleic acid containing genetic information and instruction for protein synthesis."
- It consists repeated unit of deoxyribose sugar, nitrogenous bases and phosphate group.
- Nitrogenous bases is of two types: purines and pyrimidines.
- Transcription is a process where DNA is copied into RNA.
What is RNA?
- RNA stands for ribonucleic acid.
- RNA consists ribose sugar and in place Thymine, Uracil is present.
- The RNA undergoes into translation process to synthesis amino acids.
What is proteins?
- The amino acids formed during translation bound together by a peptide bond to form a protein.
- This protein in now responsible for expressing genes.
