These notes are kept in a journal or logbook. Quantitative observations use numbers, such as calculations and measurements that are recorded in data tables. Scientists around the world use the same system of measurement called the metric system. In your experiment the unit for volume is cubic meters (m3). The unit for temperature is Kelvin (K). Create a data table for the quantitative data of the lab.

I did an experiment. Experiment was to strech tungsten until it fractured. My "tensometer" had a manual graph plotter. So I was able to plot the force vs extension of the tungsten.

When it broke, there was a loud bang. And it was hot to touch.

the tungsten, and recorded the force and extension in a table of values.
