It all depends on which type of inspection they are talking about.
- A visual inspection is recommended Monthly.
- A maintenance inspection is recommended Annually.
So, if I was the one who had this question, I would put C) Monthly. As monthly checks are recommended by many websites that I saw.
You have to check monthly to insure that the extinguishers is in good working order. If not then replace it.
