Need help. Not very good with matrix math please show work so I could understand!

Well, the exercise already said,
matrix A = [tex] \left[\begin{array}{cc}a&b\\c&d\end{array}\right] [/tex] = ad - bc
matrix B = [tex] \left[\begin{array}{cc}e&f\\g&h\end{array}\right] [/tex] = eh - fg
But we can't know if ad - bc = eh - fg or ad - bc > eh - fg or ad - bc < eh - fg because we don't know the values of a, b, c, d, e, f, g and h. So, alternative D. The relationship cannot be determined on the basis f the nformations
