When finding solutions, how do I know which number goes first? Is it {2.5,11} or {11,2.5}

There really isn't a certain way to write solutions out. I tend to write solutions to these types of problems like this:

x = 2.5 and x = 11.

Be sure to ask your teacher how they prefer to write solutions, but many math teachers seem to prefer writing it this way. :)
