keeping in mind that 2 quarts is 1/2 gallon.

on a daily basis, we use 1½ gallons, now for seven days that'd be 1½+1½+1½+1½+1½+1½+1½+ = 10½ gallons, but you also do laundry weekly, and you use 0.5 gallons for that, so that'd be 10½ + ½ = 11 gallons every week.

so, we have 300 gallons, how many weeks is that? [tex] \bf \cfrac{300}{11}\implies 27\frac{3}{11} [/tex]

so 27 weeks and 3/11 of another week, how many days is there in 3/11? well, we can simply get 3/11 of 7 days, (3/11) * 7, or [tex] \bf 1\frac{10}{11} [/tex].

10/11 almost a full day, almost, not quite.

so one can say it lasts 27 weeks, 27*7 = 189 days, plus 1 more day, so 190 days, and we don't include the last 10/11 of a day.
