A.industrialization
With the industrial revolution beginning in England in the 19th century, many areas that formally based the economy on an agricultural basis became exporters of a cheap labor force. These rural areas were left by large amounts of its inhabitants in search of being employed in factories. These factories were built in cities that led to urbanization, where suburbs gathered large amounts of people living together that originally came from the countryside or villages surrounding the industrial centers.
One example of this is Manchester distribution of space, which was brought on by a boom in textile manufacture during this Industrial Revolution, previously it could be hardly imagined that such an area was to become a big amount of land to be center of so many factories with the consequent construction of the housing buildings. Manchester became a city as a consequence of urbanization.
