we are given equation of line as

[tex] y=-\frac{1}{4} x-3 [/tex]

now, we can compare it with

[tex] y=mx+b [/tex]

and then we can find slope

[tex] m=-\frac{1}{4} [/tex]

we know that slopes of two parallel lines are always equal

so, slope of our line will also be

[tex] m=-\frac{1}{4} [/tex]

so, we have only one option that has this slope
