Mesopotamia was First Civilization of World which itself means land between two rivers and surrounded by Tigris River and Euphrates River and located in Eastern Mediterranean bounded by Zagros mountains in north east and Arabian plateau in south east presently known as Iraq. Mesopotamia was dominated by Sumerians and Akkadians from beginning of civilization and later conquered by Achaemenid Empire.
