GMO is hightech, and creates monopolies.
Commercial GMO isn't used to *reduce* pesticide-use, but to be able to *increase* the use of "roundup" (glyphosate)
GMO is expensive, which means the companies producing it will want it used on an extremely large scale to make it affordable. This can reduce biodiversity because there aren't enough acres left for all other varieties of the crop.
