PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
PR equals 25. PQ equals 7. TQ equals 6. QS equals 2x + 5. find X

There's a theorem on circle which states that, if two chords of a circle intersect at a point then the product of their segments wil be equal. Like for this problem,
PQ * QR = TQ * QS
Now QR = PR - PQ
=25 - 7
= 18
Next step is to plug in PQ = 7, QR = 18, TQ =6 and QS = 2x+5. So,
7 * 18 = 6 * (2x + 5)
126 = 12x + 30 By multiplication.
126 - 30 = 12x + 30 -30 Subtract 30 from each sides.
96 = 12x
[tex] \frac{96}{12} =\frac{12x}{12} [/tex]
So, x = 8.
