Asia's climate is very diverse. In regions where it is mild, like Thailand, a lot of crops can be grown to feed people. The warme climate also means the sea lanes are not frozen, allowing for trade.
The disadvantages are in the northern part of Asia, the climate is very cold and in the south, too hot. In northern Asia, like Mongolia, agriculture is very difficult. In the south, like near Equator, people have to take break during the days to avoid the heat.
Asia's geographical location is surrounded by oceans, Pacific and Indian, and land, Europe. The oceans allow trades with many countries. Countries bordering Europe can also do trades on land such as the Silk Road.
Disadvantage is that Asia is so big, it takes a long time for goods to travel.
