let v be the velocity of the volleyball.

The direction angle is 730 degree.

The magnitude of the vector v is the initial speed of the ball =5.6 feet per second.

The horizontal component of velocity v [tex] = 5.6*cos(730) = 5.5149 [/tex]

The Vertical component of velocity v [tex] =5.6*sin(730)=0.97 [/tex]

Thus the Component form of the velocity is

[tex] v=(5.6*cos(730^\circ ),5.6*sin(730^\circ )) [/tex]

[tex] v=(5.51,0.97) [/tex]
