What are the zeros of the polynomial function f(x) = x(x + 5)(x – 8)?

To find the zeros, set each equation equal to 0

x=0

x+5=0

x-8=0

Then solve

x=0

x=-5

x=8

So the zeros are 0,-5, and 8
