2nd number = x + 7

3rd number = 4(x+7) + 2

Sum of 3 numbers is 85

x + x + 7 + 4(x+ 7) + 2 = 85

x + x + 7 + 4x + 28 + 2 = 85

6x + 37 = 85

6x = 48

x = 8

1st number = x = 8

2nd number = x + 7 = 8 + 7 = 15

3rd number = 4(x + 7) + 2 = 4 (8 + 7) + 2 = 62

Answer: The 3 numbers are 8, 15 and 62
