by step plz my geometry is very weak.
thank you

For problem #1 There is a formula to find the measure of each interior angle in aNy polygon. This formula is (n-2)*180 divided by n
n stands for the number of sides of a polygon
In this case we have a NONAGON so the value of n would be 9
Plug that value of n into the formula and you should get your answer in degree units ;)
For #2, the first shape is a trapezoid. There is a formula for the area of a trapezoid and this is Area= [tex] \frac{a+b}{2}*h [/tex]
a= the base of the trapezoid (let's say that is 9 units)
b= the other base of the trapezoid (this would be 15 units)
h= the height of the trapezoid (8 units)
Plug the numbers into the formula I gave you and you should get your answer in units squared
b) The second shape is a regular hexagon. We know it's regular because they show you the tick marks that means that all the sides in that hexagon are the same length.
The formula is Area = [tex] \frac{1}{2}*a*p [/tex]
a= the apothem which is the length going from the center straight down to the edge forming a 90-degree angle. They give you this length in the drawing which is 3 units.
p= perimeter The perimeter can be found by adding up all the sides of the hexagon. They tell you each side is 4 units and the hexagon has 6 sides, so the perimeter is 4+4+4+4+4+4= 24 units
Plug the numbers into the formula I gave you and you should get your answer in units squared
