Think differently! For example if you see a chair make theories of how the chair would look like if it had wings or something. Look at something/object and instead of looking at it as if it were just an object look at it with curious eyes. If you need to make up a story, it's rather simple! Choose a subject, a main character and his/her friend and write about what you dream about! Have a different mentality!
