so for A, you just distribute the 3x
the answer would be 3x^2 - 12x

For B what you want to do is the same thing but dont forget to distribute the negative as well!
Your answer would be -2x^3 - 3x^2

also since you are multiplying, here is a tip. When you multiply and you have 2 x's that are going to be multiplied like x times x, you want to add the exponent!
