A line that passes through the points (-4,10) and (-1,5) can be represent by the equation y=-5/3(x-2). Which equation also represents this line? Check all that apply.

Y=-5/3x-2

Y=-5/3x+10/3

3y=-5+10

3x+15y=30

5x+3y=10

If we distributed through the parenthesis we would have  [tex]y=- \frac{5}{3}x+ \frac{10}{3} [/tex].  That's choice 2 above.  Next thing we could do is to put this into a form that is close to standard form.  That means that we lose the denominator of 3 by multiplying everything by 3 to get  3y = -5x + 10,  I believe maybe you meant choice 3 to have an x in it.  If so, choice 3 works too.  Then we will put it into legit standard form and get  5x + 3y = 10, last choice above.
