Why did colonial women gather to spin thread and weave cloth? to help colonial merchants hide their smuggling activities to support colonial boycotts against British-made goods to sell and raise money for the Sons of Liberty to provide a cover for secret attacks on British officials

Respuesta :

Colonial women gather to spin thread and weave cloth to support colonial boycotts against British-made goods. The colonists would refuse to buy British goods until the Stamp Act was abolished. The Daughters of Liberty supported the boycott by organizing spinning bees. They made their own thread and yarn producing fabric for Colonists to wear instead of British cloths.
