i believe the answer is the first one the iron curtain was fugitively a curtain created but the soviets to keep all secrets away from the allies in hopes to get the upper hand in the cold war they did not control every country besides america and Britain ad there were many other countries without communism. hope this helps sorry if its wrong have an awesome day :D
