The function f(x)=7-4x+x^2 written in form of f(x)=(x-2)^2+3.what is the axis of symmetry for the function

The axis of symmetry is 2.  If you look at the function f(x)=(x-2)^2+3, you flip the sign of the "-2" (it would become a positive 2) that is in the parentheses and it becomes the x-coordinate of the vertex (AKA the axis of symmetry). I know it's sort of confusing, but I hope you get what I mean!
