The quotation was used in the famous TV series "Westworld" and can be explained in different ways. In fact at a party a guest quotes this that when Alexander saw the width of the worlds he had conquered he wept for the reason that there are no more worlds left to conquer. The character of William in the series alters it that "When Alexander found out about infinity of worlds, he wept because he had yet to conquer one" that is to say in simple words that " for he had yet to become the lord of even one." That is how differently it is seen from different angles.
