It is in the f(X) that is where the zeros go, into the X. EX: f(1) f(2) f(3) ect.
-2x^2+x+5
a=-2, b= 1, c=5
Use your math book to see this formula and then substitute values in for a, b, and c. Simplify.
Using the quadratic formula, you can find the zeros as (1+-sqrt 41)/4.
