PLEASE HELP RIGHT NOW!!

Amie had an operation on her knee. To help it get strong again, she walks once around this rectangular path in the park every morning. If each step she takes is 24 inches long, how many steps does she take on her walk?

Path is 450 base and 200ft height.

1 step = 24 inches

Respuesta :

The perimeter of the rectangle path would be 2 times the base plus 2 times the height:
2x450 + 2x200 = 900 + 400 = 1,300 feet

1 foot = 12 inches, so her step = 24/12 = 2 feet per step.

Divide total distance by the distance of each step:

1300 / 2 = 650 steps total.

hey user!!

your answer is here...

first of all, we have to find the perimeter of the rectangular park.

given :- b = 450ft and h = 200ft

perimeter of the rectangular park = 2(450+200)

= 2 × 650

= 1300ft

we know that 12 inches = 1 foot

therefore 24 inches = 2ft

so her each step is 2ft long

hence, no. if steps she will take to walk around the rectangular park = perimeter of the rectangular park/length of her each step

= 1300/2

= 650

final answer - SHE WILL TAKE 650 STEPS.

cheers!!
